About

Voci dalle Pietre (‘Voices from the Stones’) was a photographic exhibition dedicated to some of the most beautiful – and unexpected byzantine – and roman marble artefacts preserved in the city of Ferrara.  A conference cycle (6 encounters) accompanied the launch of this particular initiative, which had quite a resonance thanks to its promoters. It was putted on display at the National Archaeological Museum of Ferrara, at the Civic Museum of Belriguardo (FE) – actually I miss other stages.

“Sarcophagi, funerary gravestones, clipeos, capitals, columns and other artefacts constitute a semi-unknown but very interesting heritage in itself, rich in new ideas and curiosities about the historical implications that led the “ancient stones” to reach their current location.”
