While my first thoughts were about focusing on the humanistic side of the relationship between man and plants, now I am all about conservation and phylogenetics. Recently (2016) I joined the dark side, also known as evolutionary biology, the so-called field of biology concerned with the origin of life forms, their diversification and adaptation, even their extinction. I must say that the theory about the Replicators of R. Dawkins was rather convincing. I cannot deny that I choose a uphill path. After having the greatest part of my worklife spent mostly thinking alike a humanist, turning to a purely scientific state of mind took me more than a while. I literally needed to backup my previous knowledges, reboot and then format my SSD under a new operative system. However it seems to work, as I am happier and more enthusiastic than ever.
